I have been on subutex for almost 2 yrs now. I loved the feeling of getting through the day without vics but now I'm starting to realize that subutex is basically doing the same thing to me. My fianc

That's a ton of suboxone and very unnecessary. There is a ceiling effect meaning that after you take a certain amount, taking more doesn't affect you further. I don't remeraber what that amount is, but it's way less than 32 mg, I think it's 12 or 8. People really don't need to to take more than that. And when you came off it, did you try to go cold turkey off 32 mg? Cause that is just ridiculous... you're going to have to taper off it for a long time to avoid withdrawals with that amount. Like probably over months and months... a lot of people get down to 1 mg or a half and stay there for a couple weeks and then jump off, and even some of them have some withdrawals.

That is quite a bit of subutex. I went in for detox from my 10 year cycle of 40-80mgs of oxy/hydro. I started at 8mgs and went down to 4 the next day. I then tapered off the next 6 days. I am on day 5 now of nothing and although I do not feel great, I certainly am doing ok. Your post scared me and then I saw you are at 32mgs. I think the ceiling limit is 32 mgs. You sound like you really need to taper slowly before you come off. I am not expert for sure, but it certainly did help in aiding my recovery.
