Concerned About Stomach...

Hello everyone, thanks for clicking. I'm pretty concerned about this and nobody that I live with seems to share my concern, so I would appreciate help!

I'm a teenager, and my stomach has had a constant but mostly minor to mild ache for nearly 72 hours now. At first I thought I might have had a bug, but I don't have a fever, and I'm not vomiting or anything like that. I do still experience hunger, but after I eat, my stomach has an uncomfortable grumbly feeling. When I have bowel movements, my stomach gets pretty upset for about 20-30 minutes. Other than this, as far as I know, I'm completely healthy. I've had no signs or symtoms of being sick, it just came on me three nights ago and hasn't left since.

The best way to describe the ache is a bubbly, grumbly feeling in my lower stomach. I'm hoping it's some kind of minor thing, but it's very upsetting to me that I've had it for so long and it doesn't seem to be getting better, or worse for that matter. I need to know if I should go to my doctor.

Any help would be hugely appreciated, truly!

hello , i would like to suggest, I would like to share to
you what vitamins/food supplement that can help.
It is based in my personal experience and my family as well.
You need to detox to eliminate toxins in your body
That causes many aches or illness.

Thanks for answering! It would be great if you could share some possible solutions. I think it would be charitable to say that I eat healthy. I have noticed, that since I've been having this issue, that when I eat less healthy foods, it seems to worsen the discomfort. When I consume some yogurt, fruit, or tea, my discomfort doesn't worsen; it almost seems to ebb away slightly for a while.

Could be stress/anxiety causing your tummy to either clench or get just plain upset, or it could be IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Call your doc and describe what's going on. I have problems with both and sometime it freaks me out as well - remember you're not alone. But call your doc and get checked out - it never hurts to err on the side of caution.

I appreciate the reply! I do have GAD and experience panic attacks, and that's how I know for sure that this has nothing to with my anxiety. I have researched IBS, and I don't seem to have many of the symptoms, but I will consult my doctor if the discomfort persists or worsen. I'm already planning things and making changes to my lifestyle, so if it is IBS, I should hopefully see some improvement.

Any subconcious worries about the upcoming holiday? Sometimes Thanksgiving and Christmas can weigh on our unconcious mind and manifest itself through physical symptoms - especially in the GI tract. That's the wierd thing about GAD - just when you have it figured out, it finds a new way to say 'hello'. Good luck!
