I would like to buy untreated water, from a nature market/health food store nearby, but I want to make sure the water is not just tap or, at least as good as they say. The concentration of the necessary minerals in the water aside, could I just add another compound, like salt (NaCl), and measure the sedimentation rate or sedimentary mass, to have a close idea? I don't have access to any equipment. I don't feel like researching this and looking up numbers, and certainly not calculating anything right now and don't have any time, so if you would like points, I will give. Any easier way to determine the quality or quantity of additives would be greatly appreciated too. Many thanks...
