f(x) = x(x + 1)^1/2
First I'm supposed to find the first derivative..then the second...and then from the second find the point of inflection...and then plug that point(s) back into the 2nd derivative to find out if the parable is concave up or concave down.
I've done this problem about 12 times..and I still can't get an answer that I can work with.
Any help would be appreciated!
