Computers sound system? I plug in a headset- and have problems- system says -

Realtek AC97 audio- what to do? I don't know owt about systems but the library computer operates a different one and it works fine on there.
My computer doesnt recognise the logitech860 and allows the headphones to work but not the microphone.
PLEASE give me some idea's.
What do you know?
