I need to do an error check on my computer, so firstly I tried the regular way, where I right click on C drive and set it up to do when my computer is next turned on. It went to the error check part when I turned it on again and then it said that error check was cancelling and continued to load up my computer without doing the error check. So then I tried to go into start/run/CMD/and then I typed in CHKdsk and it checked the disk, but said hit /F to fix any problems (which it said it found on my system). So i typed this in and then it said that it couldn't do it as it was in use and would I like to schedule error check for when I restart windows next. I hit y and then it went into the error check as planned but then it did the same thing again and cancelled itself. I tried to hit a button but it still wouldn't do it. How do I do this error check please? Thankyou in advance.
