When I was in grade 10, I never decided to take Pre-Calculus Math, though I could easily have done it (I've had around 90-98% in Applied math for the past 3 years). Back then, it never occurred to me that I might need it. Now, in my first semester of grade 12, I'm thinking about going into Computer Engineering after high school, but I need Pre-Calculus. Should I take Pre-Calculus before going to university/college (I will most likely be taking a year off after high school), or is there usually a Pre-Cal course at university/college that I can take while there? If so, which would be the best way to go?
I know I shouldn't assume I would be good at Pre-Cal because of applied, but I actually am very good at math. I understand everything and enjoy it very much, and from what I've heard, Pre-Cal seems like it would be pretty easy for me.
