I'm trying to find a setup for sony vegas, adobe after effects, and other video editing programs that can run these programs smoothly with no lag and quicker render times. I've been currently working with an HP Pavilion and in Sony Vegas Pro 11 I can't even see the preview of a clip brought in with no effects or alterations to it at the lowest preview settings. I have to buffer across the timeline or render the clip out to see how I'm doing. And rendering a 10 second clip alone takes an hour or more. Basically I'm looking for advice on what computer to get. Or if I were two build one what ideal parts should I get? My budget is between $600-$1000. I'd prefer not to blow a whole grand but I could if it's necessary. Thanks for any input of information you have!
