Im using a computer that is only using 2gb of ram and want to at least put the max 4gb in my system.
4gb is the max as i am using a 32bit system. and before anyone says that it wont use all the 4gb i know that.
My question is do i want ram with a higher number CL or lower CL
eg I can get 3 differant types of ram all exactly the same except the CL
do I want a CL9, CL7, or CL5???
I understand they mean clock speed but what are the advantage and disadvantages of a higher or lower number.
Also what is the differance between:
DDR2-667
DDR2-800
DDR2-1066
The lower CL also has the lower DDR2 (667)????
