Community college or Technical school?

I am going for a bachelors degree in the IT field. My options are my local community college or a technical institute like ECPI or Devry. Is one better than the other? Why would I pay literally ten times more for the technical institute? Any thoughts or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.Thanks!
 
It depends on your Community College. My CC had a good Liberal Arts program but a weak IT program. So you need to research your specific school. Also a lot of CC only offer Associates Degrees not Bachelors.
 
go to a cc. technical schools are just for profit intuitions. theyre ok but u could get the same education at a community college for a faction of the price and cc are more respectable. or u could even transfer to a 4year university and get a bachelor degree from a cc.
