Ever since i was a little kid i've absolutly loved fishing. I am considering going into the fishing business, but have absolutly no idea what it entails. Can anyone help? I'm somewhat older and am not doing this for money...i'm doing it becuase i trully believe it would be fun. I'm not looking to have 30 boats and a 60million dollar operation....just something on the side for fun. Even if its just one boat that i operate with some friends i think it would be a nice thing. How do i go about starting a fishing business though? I have to believe that no-one can just waltz into american ports and say "oh yeah i'm a fisherman". How do you go about getting permits and the such? Thanks.
