Comfortable bicycle seat?

Looking for a comfortable bicycle seat. It seems everytime I ride bike the seat is horrible. What has been nice to your toosh?

(FYI I am not a "pro biker" would just like to ride a bike once in a while)
 
Visit you local bike shop and explain your problem to them. Ask if they will let you try a saddle for a day or two, with return privileges. If the first one won't do that, try another one.

If you aren't near a real bike shop, buy at a box store, try it out, and return if you don't like it.
 
You need to get you butt use to the saddle by taking short rides. If you just started ridding it doesn't matter what you get. The big soft ones and gel pads can feel good for a mile or two but will be worse in the long run.

suggest going to a bike shop see what they have. there is a wide selection to choose from. take your bike with you so they can see what type of bike and riding position you have to work with also tell them how often you ride. if you have a mtn bike or road bike i would look at the women's specialized saddles if they offer them.. (specialized is a brand name). Terry is another women specific saddle. cruiser saddle is bigger more plush. if you know what your lookin for on-line stores are good but personal visits to shop will help you the most save you time and possibly $$.
