For about one month now, all the computers on my home network have been having this problem, where certain sites are blocked, and I am redirected to s server called opendns. When I contacted Comcast to find out how to fix it, the lady on the phone simply stated that Comcast does not block sites, but when I was connected to tech, I was told that yes they were indeed doing so through the DNS provider because our IP had been found to be on certain bit-torrent sites and they were against downloading. Well needless to say, I found s way around their re-directing, and got my net back to normal.
Here's the problem, everyday almost I have to go back through and undo what they have done. I even sent them chasing after a dead IP for awhile, didn't work as planned and the block is back. And they sent just blocking torrenting sites either. They srw blocking sites like deviant as well under photo sharing for the reason. How xsn I get rid of this completely?
Sadly there are no other isp's for me to switch to.
