I have several medical conditions and allergies is 1 of them. The others are type 1 diabetes, epilepsy, hydrocephalus and low blood pressure. I was born 8 weeks early with exomphalous. Three years ago I had a heart transplant which saved my life.

I'm allergic to strawberries, penicillin, pollen and dust mites.

I'm trying to find anything that can help to corabat the symptoms of my allergies.
I've tried Benadryl, Tylenol Flu, Comtrex, Contac, Theraflu, Triaminic, Dimetapp, Tavist, Sudafed, Afrin, Vicks, Original nasal spray, Visine and Napchon.

I've have to come off the majority of these because either they've interfered with my medication or they didn't work.

Medicatiion I'm on:

Diabetes - Insulin
Epilepsy - Oxcarbazepine
Hydrocephalus - Acetazolamide

My doctors says she is open to ideas but I have to put them past her first.

Have you tried zyrtec (it's cetirizine in Canada, not sure about in England)? Also, whatever the generic of Claritin is....I don't know what it would be called over there. It's easy enough to stay away from the strawberries and penicillin. Dust mites can be controlled to an extent - esp in the bedroom - with mattress and pillow covers, etc. As for pollen, it all depenRAB on which ones.
