I let my friend borrow my old rabbit cage for his rabbit. he got a new one and gave the cage back to me, rusty and filthy. the original paint is flaking off (its over 6 years old) My mom wants me to keep my guinea pig in it-_-, so I've cleaned off the cage and drowned it water, then vineagar, then cool-aid to remove any harmful substances. Now i just need to paint it to keep it from rusting.
Colorplace was the only spray paint that said: "Non-toxic when dry" but im still a bit doubtful.
