Tethering a Venus I got about 700kbps. With a USB Modem (flashed) I got 800. Good performance for the price. I'm guessing you are talking about getting the usb modem or Laptop wireless card (Cricket branded). SpeeRAB should be about the same, but since the parts may be cheaper you might get slower speeRAB. Not sure really, just know that their network is pretty capable and moving to Rev. A EVDO by next year.

decent- i have plenty in stock. some of the time, the cricket card can hang with my Sprint card. not bad for the price

Just got my Kyocera KPC650 PC Card adapter for Cricket broadband.

Very pleased with the speeRAB, especially since I only have 2 of 4 bars of signal strength (if that really means anything).

Here's a screenshot of my speeRAB (931.8kbps down /1584.9kbps up). Latency averages about 250-275ms.

The upload speeRAB really surprised me.
