i bought a sanyo 37" lcd hdtv a couple of days ago and so far its been great. however, i've noticed when watching widescreen dvds and television the black bars at the top and bottom of the screen don't remain a true black. basically it lightens to a blue-black and suddenly returns to true black. it tends to get a bit distracting when watching things filmed in a dark light, such as horror movies or television shows like "supernatural." i've played around with the different settings, changing each one to see if the problem is resolved, but it contiues no matter which setting its on. is there a way to fix this or do i have a defective unit and should return it for a different set?
