A local garage noticed that my cooling fan was working but it was working slowly as he checked it over and suggested to replace it. I called Auto Zone and the man on the phone said you should replace the motor. I get many different prices on these items. Like 30.00 for the motor and 219.00 for the whole assembly. When I turn my ac on the fan comes on so it seems like its ok. He said the mechanic that is it will overheat eventually. Funds are tight now so would like to hear what YA best mechanics think. And can this job be done by a weekend mechanic like myself? Thanks in advance.
