...making websites etc.? Sophmore Advertising student but I really want to break into the whole website biz, eventually starting one up for myself. I want to be Kevin Rose pretty much.
I'm not as interested in MAKING the sites as I am coming up with ideas and running them.
Really have no knowledge of HTML or anything like that.

So where do I start? What can I do?

please help, I know it's vague but any halp is greatly appreciated.
 
You focus on the advertising and hook up with a web developer and designer later once you've developed an idea. In the mean time, surf the internet like crazy and absorb not just the content, but the patterns. Look for trends. Consider what people want. Consider habits. Consider how you can capitalize on those things.
