I am an upcoming senior in high school and have been looking a great deal in what I would like to study in college, and I've become the most interested in bioinformatics. However, my family doesn't have the amount of money that I need to go to the schools in and around the area that offer this as a major. I found a college that offers a variety of things that could come close to it, such as:
Biological Sciences
Human Genetics
Computer Science
Biomedical informatics
I was wondering if majoring one of those and minoring in another would get me as many job opportunities as majoring in bioinformatics.
