I'm a freshman in college at a Christian University and I HATE IT. I despise every moment I'm here. I don't know what to do. I don't live in the freshman dorms, I live with five other freshman girls in sophomore town houses because we were on over-flow. I guess I'm just not having the college experience I was expecting. My roommates are way different from me. One in particular won't let me play my r&b or rap music without headphones because it's not Christ like. I also can't swear. Their nice and all but like they make me extremely uncomfortable such as they talk about pooping all the time like "I've got to poop" and "i just took a huge poop I wouldn't go in there" "pooping after a long day of class is my favorite" and they fart all the time too. I guess I'm more proper and dot find that very lady like. However I've talked to friends and they don't think it's normal either. They also don't close the bathroom door at all when using the bathroom oh and so yeah it gets worse I guess like theirs period blood on the floor and pieces of toilet paper from when they wipe. I just want out and I don't know what to do anymore really. Also their all very religious and I'm not. I went to Catholic school and did my religion stuff but I'm not going to pretend to be as Christian as they are just to fit in with them. Please give me some advice? I appreciate it! Thank you!
Sorry if I wasn't clear I'm just ranting has. Well, I'm not a big fan of the University either. They gave me decent scholarships so I'm kinda stuck here for the moment. I'm just looking for a way to fix this roommate problem, and my whole freshman experience in general isn't fun. Like where my sophomore townhouses are they are very isolated from the rest of the freshman so It's hard to get to know people besides my roommates. And to the person who said because I'm on overflow it could be difficult to switch rooms your exactly right. I'm transferring either at the semester or next year but like I said I'm just looking for ways to get through this. Thanks again.
