I am sophomore in college at UT in Austin. This year I will qualify for financial aid, but how does the process work? How will I receive the money? Can I decide what to do with the money in case i want to use it in housing?
Apply to FAFSA.gov and follow the instructions. The money will be sent to UT for tuition, then UT will send the remainder to you. If you have already paid the tuition then you would get it all back and can use it for housing. Good luck!
