college .......financial aid HELP?

Ok so i started school last semester it was my first time in college. I was getting financial aid.. ok so i had an EMERGENCY and had to leave the state in the middle of the semester and never withdrew or anything and now that i am settled i want to start back but im scared i have ruined my chances.. anyone know anything ????? ADVICE please where do i start
