Looking for government grants for higher education opportunities for me to further my career. I'm 25 years old, single & no kids. I have a small aerial photography / graphic design business during the day and work evenings at a commercial printing company. I would like to get into IT, graphic design / print production, or related. (On the other hand, I absolutely love being in the helicopter for aerial photography. Anything in that field would make me a happy camper. Other than becoming a pilot, there's not many career opportunities in the chopper.)
Current yearly income is less than 30k and have a low credit rating - I was a stupid teenager with a credit card.
I have applied to several universities but do not qualify due to credit rating. I feel like I missed the boat going to College at 18 and it's nearly impossible to move forward with my career of choice on a High School diploma - no matter how self-taugh and ambitious I may be.
Any help or advice to point me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.
