Hey all, I am currently a freshmen as Western Michigan University, but am looking to transfer to Michigan State University next year. I was declined admission last year as a college senior with a 3.1 GPA at the 4th ranked Public school in Michigan and a 30 Act, along with having a varsity letter in 2 sports (Hockey, Football). I personally believe the main reason for not being accepted was based on me being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol (the misdemeanor version of a DUI) as a junior. The charge will never be dropped from my record, however I have proof of compliance and adherence to the court's ruling, successfully going through probation.
My Current GPA for the first semester is 3.25 with 15 credit hours, and based on my class list next semester, will most probably rise in everything, possibly up to a 3.5.
Will my History of a high act score (over 94 percentile) and decent GPA be enough to get me into MSU? I've tried to look for a few college acceptance calculators, but have yet to find a free one containing MSU. Has anyone else been in a similar situation?
