Cold weather appetite.
Today, the Fox morning TV news doctor looks straight into the camera and
speaks "warm temps in your house at winter spell a small chance of
obesity!
So with a little chill in the air, during the day, I had...
Two deli roast beef sandwiches on toasted English muffins with
horseradish sauce and American cheese.
A few large glugs of fat-free (why do I even bother) milk. And a
Flintstones multivitamin.
A couple hours after that, still hungry, I had an Angus burger (nuked),
on soft rye bread with lettuce, red onion bits Dijon mustard and
American AND Swiss cheese.
I'm officially clued in on the meaning behind soft rye bread, even the
hearty delicious claim kind! The soft rye is so loosely "knit" that the
mustard easily oozes through the bread and onto my fingers. Not a
dangerous dilemma!
Then after that, a box of Stouffers supreme pizzas baked for 30 minutes.
During the wait, two small tubs of key lime pie yogurt. Showered the
pizzas in garlic powder and crushed red chile flakes.
I haven't eaten so much in a day in years and I'm still hungry. So...
I followed it all up with a vodka and grapefruit juice cocktails.
Maybe the morning TV talking head doctor BUM!!! was right?
And then FOX went on to suggest I spend $500,000 on a Bentley
convertible at the Philadelphia, PA USA auto show. Yeah right!!! I had
my heart set on driving through the snow and ice in my VW to Atlantic
City, NY for the annual boat show. "The two best days of boat ownership:
the day you buy your boat and the day you sell it."
Both shows are jokingly pathetic, considering the state of the economy!
From the warnings of the pending overhead and New England winter weather
conditions, I did stop by the convenience store for four rolls of
SweetTarts.
