I foolishly banged my coccyx really really hard on my metal tap in the shower when picking up the shampoo bottle I dropped in the shower - I have been in agony for the past 3 days - I am unable to sit down without being in pain - getting up after sitting is even more painful!!
I've not bothered to get it x-rayed as people have told me theres not much the doctor can do and people have told me that I've probably just badly bruised it.
I'm getting a tad concerned as the pain hasn't eased at all - if anything its hurting more and Im starting to think that an X-Ray may be a good idea just to make sure its not broken.
Im scared of wasting the hospitals time - is an X-Ray worth it or should I just grin and bear it??!
Please help!
