I am joining the USCG, but i am a little nervous about Basic training. I am a girl so i would like to know how it is for a girl... can a wear my hair in a messy bun or do i need to wear it in the military bun? I am 17 years old, and i am hoping to get in to the college of charleston. How hard is the boot camp? can i get pictures in the mail? can i get letters? What should i bring? i have my cartelidge pierced... and a hoop earing in it... do i need to take it out?
