I've been living in Italy for almost 9 years.
I enjoy watching Larry King live....he starts at 11AM in the summertime
Seemingly ALWAYS when there is a guest on Larry King I'm looking forward to (today it was Michael Moore).......up pops: Breaking News!
It doesn't matter WHAT time a plane may have crashed....or a terrorist bomb blew up......or a forest fire started........when Larry King is due to go on: THAT'S THE TIME FOR BREAKING NEWS TO START.
And they go on and on.....and on.....and....milking the story (with no details yet) for all it's worth.
Is there something here I am missing?
All Breaking News events do NOT just happen at 11 AM (or anytime reasonably close).....but CNN would have you think so.
The number of times that this has happened has been sufficient enough for me to make an issue out of it......it is NOT just an occassional occurance; believe me. I cannot count the number of times this has happened in 9 years.
What occurs to me is that immediately preceeding AND following Larry King, there is the regularly scheduled News segment.....BUT THEY NEVER INTERRUPT THIS!
What is going on here?
