When you press the clutch in everything is real quiet but when you let off the clutch there is a grinding noise. That has been happening for awhile. All of a sudden today it won't take any of the gears. The grinding noise is still there when the clutch isn't being pressed. It still goes away when you press the clutch in. You can put it in all the gears but it doesn't go anywhere.
Please tell me what could be wrong. It was taking all the gears just fine so I don't believe the transmission played out.
