Clutch Issues

The dealer installed the Screamin' Eagle performance clutch when I did the Stage IV upgrade to my engine. I have always used Redline Primary case oil before in my bikes but I have put it in twice now and I cannot get the bike into netural when hot.

Dealer replaced the clutch once and put Formula + Chaincase lube back into it and no problems for 3000 miles.

I changed the oil in all 3 holes and put the Redline back in and now it will not go into netural.

What would be a better oil than formula+ and why is the redline causing this.

Thanks

In my experience the oil in the primary hasn't affected finding nuetral. It's more a function of chain adjustment. Yours is automatic. Assuming it's working properly try a good quality synthetic gear lube in the tranny if you don't have it now. It makes a big difference in finding nuetral.

It's possible the Redine makes the friction discs swell differently then the Formula +, and does not allow the clutch pack to fully disengage?
