I decided to try and adjust the clutch on my 2002 Mazda Protege today (not recording the original position). I like where i have adjusted now, where the contact point is about 1.5-2 inches off the floor. What i am concerned about is clutch drag and if my contact point is so low that i will wear out my transmission. I suppose what i am asking is what an acceptable range is for the contact point.
