hi there iam a teenage girl and our youth group is going camping for the week in a cold climate, and i dont have a clue what to wear, as it will be frezzing cold 24/7 all the time, and as a teenage girl i cant seem to keep warm, even in the warmest of temperatures, i would imagine i will need tonnes of layers but i dont really know exactly what clothing and how many of each clothing to wear each day, i dont have money to buy expensive outdoor clothing,so the clothes will have to be my own, and i also have pajamas that i will take, but they are shorts and t shirt, and i dont know if they will keep me warm, but i have to wear them, as i love them

i also have yahoo messenger, feel free to help me through that aswell

thanks

well if you have any under amour wear that. it keeps you warm in the coldest weather. wear turtle necks and leggings if you don't have under armour. always dress in layers. put on as many items as you can. here's an example outfit:
- thick socks
- warm fuzzy boots
- leggings
- sweat pants
- tank
- turtle neck
- tee
- sweat shirt
- jacket
- gloves
- hat
- scarf

You can layer- and as you warm up take off one item. but here are things you should have

a pair of flannel pj's
a pair of cotton pj's
a cami
a short sleeved shirt
3 long sleeved shirts
2 sweatshirts
1 raincoat
a hat
gloves
a scarf
jeans
some long leggings or stockings
leg warmers
boots
sneakers
extra socks
underwear

hat
lots of long sleeve layers with a coat
scarf
what ever pants you wear wear some pants underneath
2-3 pairs of long socks.
buy hand warmers
lots of layers for pj's
remember it's always easier to take extra layers and take them off if you "happen" to be to hot. but it's not possible to magically have another layer appear. bring as many layers as you can.

Your best bet is to get some under armor! It is fantastic for cold weather and it also limits the amount of layers you need. You can usually get an off brand for really cheap. Depending on how cold your talking, you may be able to just go with good old long underware. As far as wearing shorts to bed...you better have one heavy sleeping bag! Even in warm temps, sleeping in shorts can be rather cool. And let me give you a hint...put your clothes for the next day at the end of your sleeping bag before going to bed, that way they will be nice and warm when you get up and get dressed in cold weather!

well ull wanna take at least 3 more sets of clothes than u need
ull need warm blankets
long tees wit sweaters, and jackets
jeans or sweatpants...
warm shoes
uggs
