I was given Rivotril drops about a month ago for a panic episode, but I came to a new doctor today and he wants to change it for amitriptyline, because he doesn't want me to develop an addiction to it.
But he wants me to do the change right away, but I'm a little nervous about what I've read about the abstinence syndrome.
I haven't got a lot of time taking it (4 drops at night, 2 in the morning, for about a month).
Does anyone has experience in how to gradually make the change, a week maybe two weeks? My doctor is confident in the quick exchange, but I'm not so sure.
Any suggestions?
