Clicking noise in steering wheel of Dodge Caravan?

We have a 2000 Dodge Caravan. When the steering wheel is turned, there is a clicking noise inside of or just behind the steering wheel. It doesn't generally do it when driving, as it has to be turned more than required for most curves. When I'm backing to turn around and cut the tires sharply, it clicks about 4 or 5 clicks both ways.

Any ideas as to what is causing it and how to fix it?
