A comment though. I wonder why it is that breast cancer is so often in the limelight when it comes to awareness and research, when there are many other forms of cancer in both men and women which are just as common and just as deadly. Don't all forms of cancer deserve that same kind of medical research and attention?

I agree there, all forms of Cancer are horrible and all should be researched as intensly as others, it's a thing that needs to be killed off, it needs to be beaten in it's most basic form, I don't want to keep losing people to Cancer :(
I want people not to be in fear and pain :(

I started this thread because my sister emailled me the link. She was diagnised with breast cancer 2 and half years ago when she was 27. After 2 unsuccessful operations to remove the lump she was left with no option but to have a mastectomy.

She is now clear and has fought very hard to get through this, she is my little sister but going through this experience with her made me realise that she is in fact as hard as nails! :01:

The hardest thing for me is to see the psychological damage that it has done and not to be able to do anything to help, so today I'm clinking the clicky a few extra times.

I showed her this thread yesterday and she was overwhelmed by the response, so on belalf of Clare I just wanted to say thanks again guys. ;)
