'Cleveland Show', 'Family Guy', 'American Dad!' Crossover Delayed

Oh, wow. They were planning this for a year, and then 2 days before it airs, a real hurricane hits.

Kinda disappointed since I was looking forward to this, but hopefully should make a good Season Premiere

Either way, I'm still planning to skip this week's Fox Sunday lineup, as I'm not really impressed with the premise of the crossover since, like the Brian and Stewie episode last year, it's basically a Family Guy version of another show's "gimmick" episode (in this case, the "Hurricane" episodes of NBC's "Disney shows set in Miami" shows).

Dang I was really excited for this episode too, I can understand their reasons though considering this might be considered "too soon" by some.

Man...... I was really looking forward to the crossover too!

Anyone know how long it'll be delayed til'?

Huh....... just discovered something interesting.

My cable guide still has the hurricane episodes listed as being shown.......

Curious.....

It's not official yet but it would make a good season opener, and knowing FOX that seems most likely. But it's pure speculation.

FOX.com lists the schedule as

7pm - Family Guy - "And Then There Were Fewer"
8pm - The Simpsons - "The Real Housewives of Fat Tony" (NEW)
8:30 - The Cleveland Show - "Ain't Nothin' But Mutton Bustin'"
9:00 - Family Guy - "Brian Writes a Bestseller"
9:30 - American Dad! - "I Am The Walrus"

Bob's Burgers will still be pre-empted for that night. All shows return to their former timeslots next week and will be all-new. Some guides take awhile to update, especially with last-minute changes like this. (I still remember when it said there would be two new Running Wilde episodes on a Sunday night and it actually recorded them, but when I came home and played them they turned out to be reruns of The Simpsons.)

I am very much ticked about this. There will usually always be a storm going on, (Not counting summer, which Animation Domination doesn't air) So I can't see why they won't just show this. It's not like a usual episode, it's a crossover. I REALLLY wanna see this :c

I know, and it's awful. However, it's not like airing the episode will have any negative consequences. Anyone who thinks the episode was made to make fun of what had happened would be an idiot.

THIS SUCKS
On the other hand, the tornadoes & hurricanes were enough to start relief funds and a visit from President Obama, so this is pretty serious if you don't think about the shows.

Yeah, aside from its original airing, it aired January 23, and now this time.

A hurricane hits Quahog, Langley Falls, and.... wherever Cleveland lives now. (I don't watch The Cleveland Show, but I will for this.) The episodes will be connected, albeit staying true to each show's universe.
