clear recent text log from a sprint log?

I have a Sprint PCS phone and everytime i send a txt or pic message the phone logs my recently txt/pics that i have sent. I can clear my inbox and sent items, but when i go to send a next txt it logs all the people that i have sent txts to for the past month. Is there a way to cleared these cached address's from the recent text logs of the phone
