Clear Nokia N71 phone Memory

My N71 is sending texts at a ridiculously slow pace and keeps saying delete files to make for more memory, which I have done but it isn?t enough so I just want to get rid of everything and start over but I cant figure out how to format the phone.

there are a bunch out there, there is one to do a soft reset, i can't remember what it is, then *#0000# is software version, *#06# is IMEI, there are a bunch

Where do you learn all of these, I'm a rookie when it comes to stuff like this and would like to know more.

Check my sig for an easier fix to your text message lag. I don't understand why you were out of memory though, unless you saved several thousand text messages.

The latest firmware from the Nokia Software Updater solved my out of memory issues.. it made the available memory jump by about a factor of 2.

check the nokia website, there's a fix for that sms problem
