I am a 62 y.o. male. Last week I noticed some discomfort behind my one ear in the area that my glasses come in contact. I can't see it but it felt like a small blister. A few days ago it broke open with a clear, tan, blood combination discharge. It was not blood like a noise bleed but mostly tan tinted pink with some blood.
I held a tissue for several min. at a time and it took almost 20 min. to completely stop.
The discomfort was better and I figured it may take a few days to completely heal.
Today when I woke up I noticed some spots on my pillow and some dried discharge behind my ear.
Since I can't see the injury I don't really know what it looks like. The only thing I can think of is when I got my hair cut the clippers scratched that area.
I have never had a cut with that color of discharge before and the wound is not painful.
Anyone have any idea on how to clear this up? When I go out today I'll check with the pharmacist and have him look at it.
