I have a black 05 jeep grand cherokee. The paint is in very good shape, no rust or anything. One thing I HAVE noticed, are lines of some sort of haze from where water runs off. They are most noticiable under the mirrors, and the run off channels of the windows. When I wash and wax this haze does not come off. The clear coat seems to be good all around I just cant get this haze off. I've seen in stores a rubbing compound thats supposed to clean this... but am worried that I'll scratch the surface, and figure I should leave it to the professionals. 1. Is there anything I can do to get these build up's off myself that wont damage the paint surface? 2. If I decide to go to a professional, what am I asking for? how much should I expect to pay?
