Hi,
I am a little confused and I am hoping that someone from a legal perspective can assist me. I was changed with a misdemeanor crime almost 8 years ago. I received probation before judgment (1-year supervised) in the state of Maryland. Everything was completed successfully and I was under the assumption that the case was dismissed. But was I convicted? I plead guilty, so that makes me convicted of the crime? On the work application, it says "Have you been convicted of, pleaded guilty or nolo contendere to, or otherwise been found guilty of a felony or other offense? (Do not include convictions that were sealed, erased, statutorily eradicated, annulled, or expunged; or convictions that resulted in referral to a diversion program." Am I to say yes or no...plz help, confused.
