Classic fork in the road riddle?

My boyfriend left me with a riddle before he went to sleep--I get to know a secret if I figure it out! I'm absolutely cheating....don't judge me, I suck at riddles...here it is, though:

You come to a fork in the road. You see two paths leading to two villages: one is truthsville and one is liarsburg. People from truthsville always tell the truth, and those from liarsville always lie. You want to get to truthsville. There is a man standing at the intersection, but you do not know which village he is from. What single question can you ask him to successfully lead you to truthsville?

ALSO! I'm allowed two guesses. I'm trying to play this off like I'm not cheating. Any help is appreciated. hahahah this is so fun.
 
Ask one of them..Which way will the other guy lead you to, when you ask for truthsville, both will be the path to liarsville. So take the other road!!
 
You ask him which villge hes from, if hes from the lying village, he will point to the truth village. I hes from the truth village he will point to the truth so either way he is pointing to the truth village.
 
If it's day, ask him if it's day (if he lies he would say it's night when obviously it's day).. Or ask him if he's a man (if he lies he would say his a woman (keep in mind this wont work if the mans a transexual))
 
u would ask him are u a man if he's from liarsbug he'd say he's a woman .if he's from truthsville he'd say he's a man
