Classic Car Owners: Who Insures Your Car?

So I am looking at buying a 1970 GTO, and I noticed that insurance is going to be interesting. My current company has odd restrictions like no more than 2,500 miles and such? I am having the GTO modified in ways to make it a daily driver and will likely be putting 10k on annually (give or take of course). Who insures your car? What restrictions do you have? How much does it run you?

If it's going to be a daily driver, then any insurance company can insure it. It's only when you get into special use or collector cars with historic license plates that you start seeing 'odd' restrictions.

I have a 1980 Camaro Berlinetta- old style "smokey and the bandit
without the big bird on the front"
I pay $250 a yr with my insurance for classic cars- "Silver Wheel"

I live in Canada - the only thing they stipulate is that it is simply a pleasure vehicle.
Oh and if you go on a big driving trip that you notify them if you leave the province or country.
That is really reasonable for $250 a yr.
