i just got this game like 2 days ago and it last me like 3 hours a game . i just found out how to use a nuke and it destroys a hole city and its an easy win. im pretty sure if they opponents can lauch nukes cuz egypt did it to china and im just asking if they launch a nuke on me is there anyway to prevent it?
 
the only way i know is to severly protect your cities becuase one time i nuked Greece and he didnt get destroyed because his defences were sooooo high.

If they launch Nuke, you can't deflect it or stop it anyway. The best way to stop it is to become allies with them, because they usually warn you before they blow you to bits.

Also, through out the game you can watch their advancements in tech, if you keep an eye on em you can get ready so you can attack before the nuke. But, usually they don't Nuke you.
