when i try to play civ 4 online it sais i need to download the patch 1.74. So i try to download it and it doesnt work (doesnt patch). So i looked up the problem online and found so many different ways to fix the problem. So i downloaded the 1.61 patch and the newest directX 9 but i still cant download 1.74 and when i attempt to it sais "This update requires that a previous version of the application be installed" . I have the new windows 7 computer. i have spend hours trying to figure this thing out, (its so frustrating, they cant just have a patch that fixes everything!!!!). As common as the problem is, surely there is a definate solution to the problem.
