civil warrant child custody?

Hi I live in Louisiana and My nephew is 10yrs old he has lived with me for 2 years. His Mother has been in and out of rehab in Florida for crack, cocaine and Meth, and his father lives in Illinois and has been in and out of prison. I have temporary sole custody of the child until the next court date and that is when I was going to get sole custody. His mother came and took him from the bus stop when he was waiting for school bus, she fled to Florida. The judge has issued a civil warrant and Im confused as to what to expect out of this, as I have heard Florida does not recognize out of state child custody or civil warrants...Any information that you can give me would be very much appreciated. Thank you very much
