Citing an Author with a Degree???...???...?

So I would cite George Washington as: Washington, George.

So, if he had a Medical Doctorate (MD), how would that be cited?

Washington, MD, George?
Washington, George, MD?
Something else?

Please include a source with you answer.

You don't mention degrees in the citation. But in the body of the work, you can say Dr. George Washington notes, "blah blah blah" (Washington 24). Is this MLA style you're talking about?
