I was just watching some stuff on my N73 fine yesterday but today I'm getting the "only on supported 3G phones" crap. Can someone try it and if it's working any settings I need to change? Thanks!

ok, a few search, and I see it is cingularvideo.cingular.com and same message that you got, I contacted tech support and they told me it will only work on 3g phones they sell, I figured if we get the unlimited media net we'd get cingular video , but that's ok, I have other ways of streaming video's and I have seen cingular video, it's over-rated anyways...

I was also going to start a thread about this. Mine did the same thing yesterday. Just after using it the day before. The sim thing is a no-go seeing as how I already have the 3g sim.

The only reason that I think that it worked before is because the phone is not in the system as non supported. But with this N75 being released as a 3g device maby Cingular sees it as being an S60v3 device *without 3g* and therefore will not allow it to play.

(Did I make any sense?)

The only clips I watched were CNN and the weather and it was just convenient to quickly go to CV for that.
They must be monitoring the connections to protect their precious content.

i get the not a 3g phone error on my e62, it used to work but not anymore.

edit: if i use the services browser to try it just exits the browser when going to the page.

There is a difference when you use the service or the web app to get to their site, try both, I don't remember which one, but one blocks and one allows you to stream Cingular Video.

Are you saying that you're able to launch CV RIGHT NOW ?

For me it only worked (until 3 days ago) through the Web browser, not the WAP browser (service).

I don't think it works, most people I have talked to say Cingular has blocked it, how they did I have no clue (maybe phone IMEI provisioning on their database)

That's odd that it stopped working. I had it working fine on my E61, N73, and N80ie for quite some time. Are you sure you guys are still accessing it through the browser and not the services. Through Services you cant do it but I'm sure you know that already. Anyway, that's odd!
