Cingular 8125 or T-Mobile MDA?

"get over it"

New member
I have to get a Windows Mobile 5 device for work, but the cost of the device is coming out of my pocket. Verizon seems to have some decent options (e.g. Treo 700w), but they are a bit pricey for me, so I am thinking the two phones above are my best bet (the Cingular 8525 seems cool, but is out of my price range). I have fairly big fingers, so devices with small keys, close together (like the Motorola Q or the T-Mobile Dash) are pretty much out for me. Any thoughts on the phones or the carriers?

BTW, I live in Phoenix, AZ, if that matters. Though it may seem hard to believe in 2006, I am a cell-phone newb (my first and only phone is a Blackberry 7100, which I rarely use. It belongs to my employer and I can only use a max of 30 voice minutes a month or incur crazy charges, so I almost never use it except to occasionally view (but not reply to) e-mail - responding on that tiny keyboard is just too cumbersome), so any advice is appreciated!

(Sorry for the cross-post, I accidentally posted this on the wrong forum and can't figure out how to delete it!)

They are basically the same phone but I prefer the look of the 8125. However, you should try to find a G3 device (IPL/SPL = x.xx) instead of a G4 device (IPL/SPL = 2.xx.xxxx).
